Blue Coffee

     If one word could describe my art it would be "people". I am fascinated by emotions, relationships, moments of loneliness, moments of joy, the  rituals of life. If I can capture these emotions with a few brushstrokes of ink, all the better. Sometimes, color does invade, as in my paintings.

Some perennial questions: what is Jewish art? and what is a "Jewish artist"? Or what qualifies as "women's art"? For me, here is the answer:  I am an artist, I am a woman artist, I am  a Jewish artist. However, you'll find in my work universal ideas as well as more obvious Judaic or feminist themes.
